Explain how Orwell has used humour to present a serious allegory defining tyrannical political system?

Although, I do not find the novel to be humorous, Orwell's use of names, Napoleon, can be considered humorous.... as Napoleon was a tyrrant. Other example can be found in the drunkeness of the pigs in Chapter Eight, as well as Squealer getting caught, as he attempts to change the commandment about drinking on the wall of the barn.
