The structure is interesting. Christie initially uses a fairly rigid structure to support the rigid class structure represented by the different characters. When the structure finally breaks down and become fragmented, so do the characters. They lose their social graces and even begin eating out of cans in the kitchen, and leaving the house to find safety in nature.They begin to take on anilalistic traits.
