When was the first mention of there ever being window cleaning services in literature? 1889?

The reason I ask this question is because I'm doing research and a kind person wh osaid that stained glass windos in the middle ages was the first time that we needed professional window cleaners like these as a full time job in the Latin West but I'm perturbed because I know that glass existed much earlier and even some ancient windows were made out of alabaster and I assume that these, too, would need cleaning services. I can't find any sources online so I am despertely looking for answers. Thank you.

I forgot to say that I have one piece of evidence that chimney sweepers in the 19th century also did window cleaning for an extra small fee or to get a tip. This was in London but I'm looking for medieval or ancient sources. Thank you.

Hi,

Not sure on window cleaners but some history on dumpsters: "Dumpster" came from Dempster-Dumpster, which was a system of mechanically loading from standardized containers into garbage trucks in 1936.
