How does Paul react when he notices Himmelstoss cowering in the dugout?

Paul dives into the same trench as Himmelstoss. A novice at trench fighting, he pretends to be wounded in the trench. Paul orders him to go out with the others. He doesn't, and Paul knocks him around until a lieutenant orders them both to join the others.
