Do you agree or disagree with Albert Kropp's statement that the war has ruined everythingfor them? Explain. What has been ruined? What has not been ruined for them
Yes I agree with his statement. Certainly war has sucked the innocence out of their lives. They pretty much missed their formative years of young adulthood. If they live through the war, they will return broken men. Dating, happiness, and simple pleasures will forever be tainted by the horrors that they witnessed in war. They will be socially stilted because all they know is war. This can also be said, to varying degrees, about soldiers retuning home today.
