Mother's thoughts on Larry

Kate refuses to believe that Larry is dead because she still has hope. Unlike Joe and their son, Kate holds onto the fact that her son's body was never found. Her husband and remaining son have long since dealt with Larry's death.... Kate refuses to do so. For Kate, like most mothers, the loss of a child is incomprehensible.... she still believes there is a chance that her missing son will come home.
