Evaluate ann's character in light of her behavior in act III.

Ann is strong, confidant, and loyal. Her demand in the third act that Larry's death be dealt with so that she could move on with her life and be married is a faor one. We see her loyalty to the man she loves in the fact that she will not make public his father's guilt for the crime her father innocently went to jail for.
