describe the mockturtle,gryphon and alice's lockharts sance

Carroll created the gryphon to be much like the mythological griffin: a combination of an eagle and lion. He is not very compassionate for the other characters in the story. He cannot sympathize with the Mock Turtle's sorrow' ultimately he leaves the Mock Turtle behind when he and Alice have to leave.
