What does Randy get from Rita and what does this gesture tell you about her? chapter 10

Lib comes up with the idea to go to Rita Hernandez, who has gas and a supermarket delivery truck. It would entice the highwaymen, who would then come close enough for Randy and the other men to kill them. Rita agrees to his plan and gives him the truck. This tells us that Rita cares for her community, much like Randy. She is brave to go along with such a risky plan.
