Meg believed that after freeing her father everything would turn out alright..... that things would get back to normal. The reality, however, is that things aren't going to go back to her vision of normal, and she is devastated..... she wants to give up. Meg, in fact, becomes angry at her father, who is merely exhausted and confused. Thankfully, Calvin is full of encouragement.
