Sylvia is a sensitive soul. With his gifts and money she is compelled to show the hunter where the bird nest is. I thought that she wouldn't go through with it, she is too fond of the birds. I just didn't know how she would avoid it. I thought she might give him bad directions on purpose.

She loves birds; she will not become a part of the hunting and killing of the heron.
