A Vindication of the Rights of Woman

Analyze how Wollstonecraft builds her argument in her piece, “A Vindication of the Rights of Women.”

What literary techniques does she use to build her argument? Why does she exclusively discuss education rather than equality at large? Is she successful in building her argument?

This is only a short answer space but I can make a general comment. Wollstonecraft was considered an aggressive writer at the time, an aggressiveness usually attributed to male authors. She maintains that reason and truth have no gender. Her style lays out basic human principles and then builds an argument around them. Her arguments counter prejudice of the time with universal truths which apply to both genders.
