who is Sayeed and what does he do for Tariq and Laila?

Sayeed, the brother of Tariq’s friend Salim. He is the owner of a hotel mountain town of Murree, Pakistan. He is a sympathetic man who gives Tariq and Mariam a place to live and Tariqu a job at the hotel. He also gives Tariq money to marry Laila.
