A Separate Peace

Compare and Contrast

I need help comparing and contrasting Iago (Othello) and Gene (ASP) about them feeling inferior and how they make irrational decisions to feel superior. If you could provide some quotes as well that would be helpful

This is actually a bit more than this short answer forum is set up for. Gene and Othello are such different characters in such different settings. Their reasons for being insecure are also vastly different. Gene is most probably in love with Finny and their complex relationship is full of passive aggressive behavior. Othello represents the invincible man with a tragic flaw. He sees things an absolutes and cannot reconcile doubt with reality. This question, however, will take more research on your part.
