What is the psychology of a killer in this book?

I'm not sure what you mean by the psychology of a killer in reagrd to this particular novel. The boys are maninpulated and brainwashed. They're given drugs and conditioned. Thus, we can infer that according to the novel, and the defintition of "boy soldiers", killers are made not born.
