In A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park, Salva is a dynamic character because he develops as the story progresses. After reading chapters 6-10, what is one thing about Salva’s character that you think is changing?

I think Salva is maturing as a character. He is also becoming more resilient. Salva is able to read strangers better. He is taking responsibility for himself instead of relying on others to survive. He is dealing with thirst, hunger, fear...all thing a little boy should not have to deal with. Salva is also more self-aware than he was before.
