Compare & contrast life in America and life in Sudan

I think these are, for the most part, polar opposites. Sudan is a country in Africa. For many, life in Sudan is about survival from day to day. Clean drinking water and food are hard to find. Civil war and war in general is a part of life. Kids like Nya have to walk miles just to fetch tainted water. Kids like Salava are displaced without family. American society certainly has its problems, but they seem less severe than what people in Sudan must face.
