Should Grant stay in Bayonne after Jefferson's death?

After Jefferson is executed, should Grant stay in Bayonne. List the benefits and the disadvantages of leaving or going away?

I don't think running away from his home would have been the answer. His feelings of frustration and disenfranchisement would have stayed with him wherever he went. Grant felt a responsibility to the children he taught to steer them away from ending up like Jefferson. He also had relatives to care for. Although he might find temporary relief in a new place, his unresolved issues and responsibilities would catch up to him.
