How does the title introduce the main themes in the play?

From beginning to end the title "A Doll's House" has major significance. Nora plays at being a wife and mother; she was obedient to her father and continued that obedience with her husband. In the end, the title comes full circle as Nora says, "Our home has been nothing but a playroom. I have been your doll-wife."
