Did Nora corrupt and poison her children ?

No, but Nora did believe in exceptional inheritance and was sure that she'd inherited her wastefulness (the way she spent money) and suspicious nature from her father. She was frightened that her children would be poisoned by her crime, that her dishonor would be passed onto her children.... that was a major reason for why she would eventually leave them behind.
