Dickens took great care in detailing the warehouse's transformation from workplace into a festive hall. Fezziwig's was magical.... the man was one of a kind, and Scrooge was a happy, carefree, young man. Because of the way Dicken's portrays the scene, the reader becomes completely aware of the fact that Scrooge, an unhappy, miserley old man, was once a part of something joyous.
