What is Scrooge's relationship with his family?

Scrooge's only living relative is his nephew, Fred. Scrooge finds his nephew too frivolous, resents the fact that he's tied himself to a wife, and has never forgiven the boy for the death of his sister. Fred, on the other hand, never gives up in his attempts to make Scrooge a part of his life.
