Scrooge notes that Fezziwig was a kind master who people loved and admired. It takes Scrooge some time to internalize this. Finally he learns that being a good master means attending to the wellbeing of his employees. Scrooge discovers that being kind and understanding, like Fezziwig, has its own rewards for him as well.
