What did the first ghost represent?

Jacob Marley, scrooge's old partner, was actually the first ghost but I think you might be referring to the Ghost of Christmas past which is the first appointed Ghost to take Scrooge on a journey. This ghost represents Scrooge's Christmases in his past.
