What bothers Scrooge even more than his own death?

I think Scrooge, in the end, is even more touched by Tiny Tim's death than his own impending doom He questions the ghost if anything can be done to avert the young boy's demise. In Stave five Scrooge helps Tiny Tim as well as the whole Cratchit family.
