What are other possible outcomes of the novel?

There are multiple things that could happen in the novel.....

Scrooge might die, leaving Fred the business. Fred would make a wonderful, caring, charitable employer.

Scrooge might no have learned his lesson, and nothing may have changed as a result.

Tom and his wife may have lost their beloved child.

Tiny Tim may have prevailed and lived anyway.
