Stave 2- Why does Scrooge say “Remove me.” (five paragraphs from the end of the stave)

Scrooge was desperate not to see the visons of his past. In this case, he was in Belles home. Belle was his betrothed who broke off their engagement, because Scrooge was fixated on money. Scrooge wants to be removed from the scene.
