In Stave One, the atmosphere in Scrooge’s house is dark and gloomy. What is the atmosphere like in the house in Stave Five? Include two or three details to support your analysis.

The atmosphere has much more light in it. The curtains are drawn up and the light pours through the windows. Scrooge is a changed man which seems to resonate his flat. His jovial laughter seems to change the place even though physically it is much the same.
