I am thinking you are referring to Scrooge's perspective at the end of the story. Scrooge sees his fellow man as part of the human race which he now shares a common bond with. His experience with the spirits has made Scrooge realize that he must help his fellow man if he is to attain any kind of happiness and salvation in his life. Scrooge will no longer go back to his isolated and miserly ways.
