on chapter 7: Why was the fight over the cooking pots a disappointment to Winston?

Winston thought the fight and hollering was actually taking place over something that mattered. When he found out is was about little tin pots, he considered the noise and uproar the women were making and wondered why they couldn't apply that kind of anger to something that would make a difference.
