Horrock's actions are cold and matter-of-fact. It's hard to know what he is thinking or planning, but his wife's reactions to his demeanor and tone seem wary... she is nervous and unsure.

Raut's reactions are similar, but they are mainly due to Horrock's silence... as they walk down the path, Horrock's actions become threatening, as he guides Raut to their destination.
