What do you notice about the people the camera follows?

Depends on which movie version you are watching. If you are watching the original with Henry Fonda as juror #8, then the opening scenes focus on the judge, the issuing of the orders for the jury, and the jurors as they get settled into their jury room. The initial pictures of them are in a kind of wide, not really too close up shot. Later, we see many more close ups as we get to know the men and their personalities.
