The play is seen through a very patriarchal lens. We might infer the dynamic might have been different were there women on the jury. Many jurors, like Juror #3, use a “masculine” point of view through, the deliberations. This point of view comes with all the vulnerabilities and lack of emotional literacy that came with many men at the time. Women might have been able to balance these traits.
