The left side of the graph (where $x \leq0$) is represented by $y=-2$. The right side of the graph (where $x \geq1$) is represented by $y=-4$. All real numbers can be used for values of $x$ (except $x$ cannot equal values between $0$ and $1$), and the only possible values for $y$ are $-2$ and $-4$.
