War
Talmanes brings the Red Hand army to Altara to fight a Seanchan army on a mission to kill Tuon. Rand plans to meet with the Daughter of the Nine Moons to broker peace, but a large scale war ensues. It ends with Lews Therin seizing control of Saidin, forcing Rand to negotiate a truce with him instead.
To subdue the large Shaido army, the Perrin alliance poisons their water supply with herbs, that prevent the army from channeling a powerful force that empowers them in battle. Tam arrives with additional reinforcements to aid Perrin. The Shaido are disgracefully defeated.
Murder and Violence
Galad Damodred violently confronts Eamon Valda and kills him, taking over his rank as Lord Captain Commander. The Forsaken Semirhage kills the Seanchan Empress. Tuon goes back to Ebou Dar to kill the High Lady Suroth. Aram dies while trying to kill Perrin who kills Aiel Rolan, unbeknownst to him that he aided her wife while in captivity.
Captivity
The Aelfinn and Eelfinn capture Moiraine Damodred and is held captive in Altara. During a strategic meeting, Rand attempts to save Semirhage from capture, but loses his left hand. Perrin saves his wife from captivity. While in captivity in the White Tower, Egwene spreads rumors that undermine the Amyrlin Elaida's rule.
