    Individual Writing

    Objective:

    Students will be able to define point of view and they will be able to write creatively from the character's point of view.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.9-10.3, CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.3

    Structure:

    Students should continue this activity from Day 1:

    1. Have students discuss the effect of point of view on the experience of a story. Consider the following link to help them explore point of view as it plays out in literature.
    2. Ask them what point of view they have of this story and what kind of experience this point of view has on their reading.
