During the movie it was added preassure on that Solomon could not tell his history og show that he could write and read, why is that?

I have not seen the movie, but we can infer that Solomon's ability to read and write might put him in a more difficult position. Slave owners didn't want educated slaves, as they often would incite dissatisfaction among the other slaves.
