How do you describe Jim's relationships with Livesey and Trelawney?

Jim's relationship with Dr. Livesey is close. He becomes a father figure for Jim.

Jim sees Trelawnley as a symbol of authority, although, he quickly realizes the man hasn't got an enormous amount of common sense. Jim treats him with respect but also worries about his tendency to talk too much, as well as his poor decisions.
