Describe what you know of the narrator, Jim Hawkings

Young (probably 13 or 14) Jim Hawkins is the narrator a nd protagonist of the story. It is his feelings, perceptions, and emotional responses that the reader responds to and views thus far. He seems like an honest hard working b oy who worries about his family.
