What is Cole’s idea to cure Peter’s depression? How does Edwin react to this suggestion?

Cole thinks that Peter should visit the island. He thinks Cole is so angry that he might commit "suicide". Cole wants Peter to have a shot at releasing his anger. Edwin first says it can never happen because of Peter's parents. Later he convinces them as long as he (Edwin) is present.
