We learn that Scout's a rebel, and that she is determined to wear and do what she likes. Scout is a tomboy, and Aunt Alexandra isn't going to rob her of any fun. She does, however, dress and act like a lady to make Aunt Alexandra proud when she hosts the missionary circle.
