Jem breaks maycomb up into four groups. Based on these descriptions, what happens when you are born into one of those groups?

Jem says that,

"There's four kinds of folks in the world. There's the ordinary kind, like us and the neighbors, there's the kind like the Cunninghams out in the woods, the kind like the Ewells down at the dump, and the Negroes."

In Jem's eyes, when you're born into one of these groups you're destined to stay there.
