In what way is Tea Cake good for Janie, bad for Janie, or both?

I suppose Tea Cake sweeps her off her feet.Her life with Joe hadn't been what she thought it would be. Tea Cake makes her feel happy again. Tea Cake however lacks self-discipline and uses Janie for her money. Still there remains a connection there all the way to Tea Cake's death. I thin Janie might have been better off without always seeking men in her life.
