What is the text structure?

stories can be told in straight line, circular, linear, or with flashbacks. they can have one narrator or several, switch from present to past times, mixing non fiction with fiction, and can run parallel story lines set in different places.

The Wave is narrated by a third-person, omniscient narrator. What is different about the structure in the text is that the narration seems as if it is being told by the reader rather than the narrator..... the narration becomes personal, almost as if we've be inserted into the story.
