The stranger was written by the French author Albert Camus. The title, when translated, could also mean the foreigner. Our stranger or foreigner is actually the protagonist of the story. His name is Meursault, a French man living in French Algiers. Camus wrote a lot about this. His own "Frenchness" living in another country. Meursault struggles to overcome feeling like an outsider both in French Algiers as well as his own personal life.

Thanks dude.
