Why does Chillingworth try to stop Mr.Dimmesdale as he is calling Hester and Pearl to his side

Chillingworth does not want the secret of Dimmesdale, Hester and Pearl to be revealed. If the secret is revealed, then Chillingworth loses his power over Dimmesdale and Hester as well.
