The Pearl

The Pearl, Chapter 4

the question is As Kino, Juana, and Coyotito flee into the mountains after spotting the trackers, Steinbeck describes their movements as “panic flight.” What does this term mean? Why is panic flight dangerous for the family? How do Juana’s actions stop their panic flight?

Panic flight is chaotic...... and obvious.

Are you sure your question relates to Chapter Four. Kino and Juana haven't yet run away in this chapter?
