how do kino and his neighbors feel about the doctor

The doctor has not been good to Kino until the time that Kino finds the pearl and can now pay the doctor the amound that his bill would be. The doctor, like so many others, has oppressed Kino and his people, helping them only when the money is available for payment. Otherwise, the way in which he treats the people does not inspire the awe they might have hoped for. They respect his education, but they do not receive his respect in return.
