How would dallys life be if he didnt commit suicide?

We can't know this for sure. Certainly Johnny's death pushed Dally over the edge. I'd like to think Dally would hsve found an outlet for all his rage but, being a tragic figure, it made sense that he go out in a "blaze of glory".
