Explain why you think Randy came to see Ponyboy.

In my opinion, Randy comes to see Ponyboy in order to ease his mind. He is expressing his regret for things that happened in the past, displaying a newfound maturity. Although, the boys will likely never be friends, I think Randy's visit is something similar to a peace offering, and through his words..... Ponyboy is forced to face the truth of what really happened.
